Singapore Expat Living Annual Travel Guides

The Singapore Expat Living magazine is a monthly magazine that is aimed at the local expat community.  Each year, this magazine publishes an annual travel guide and the editor invites readers to submit travel stories to be included in this guide.  These stories can be on anything unique, quirky or interesting while traveling.  The editor makes is clear that not all stories submitted can be published, but if one's story is selected, the writer will get full credit for this.

One of the things that we love doing is traveling, and we both feel very grateful for all the travel opportunities that we have had while living in Singapore.  I (Sam) enjoy writing about our experiences and so I decided to submit some stories.  For the 2010 travel guide, I submitted 3 articles and was thrilled when all 3 were selected for publication.  This year, I was not planning to submit any stories due to time constraints, but I was personally approached to submit stories for this year's edition.  I again submitted 3 stories and was very happy to learn that all 3 were selected for publication.  While I have received full credit for writing these articles, I have to mention that David took all the lovely photos that accompany them and he should get credit for this.  The magazine is currently on sale here in Singapore, but for those not living here, the magazine can be viewed online :
