Elephant Parade, Singapore

The Elephant Parade is the largest open-air art exhibition to promote the worldwide conservation of the Asian elephant.  A herd of over 100 brightly-painted, life-size elephants can be found all over the city and they will grace the streets of Singapore for two months.  They will then be auctioned off by Sotheby's in January.  The artists that have given their talents to create these beautiful elephants include well known names like Joss Stone, Leona Lewis, Philip Treacy, Ricky Gervais and Cat Deeley to name a few.  These elephants have been a wonderful addition to the city and it is so nice to see them around Singapore!
