In December we had some of our family visit us in Singapore. First to arrive was David's brother Philip and his wife Yvonne. They were only here for the day as they were on route to Australia. It was Philip's second visit to Singapore and Yvonne's first. Fortunately they had about eight hours to spare, so we were able to show them some of the sights and ethnic enclaves around the city.
A week later, Sam's brother Michael and his girlfriend Kathy arrived for a two week visit. During their visit, they did a lot of sightseeing and enjoyed the wide variety of food here. We did a short trip with them to Bali over the Christmas period and it was great to get away for some rest and relaxation.
