In the middle of June, my uncle, aunt and cousins came to Singapore for a short visit. These relatives live in Vancouver, but they went to China for a wedding and so decided to make a stop in Singapore afterwards, especially since none of them had been here before. It was great having them here for a visit and David and I were happy to play tour guides for a few days. We took them to Sentosa Island, showed them the different ethnic enclaves in Singapore and introduced them to some of the local food......a good introduction to the city we have called home for the past five years (yes it is hard to believe that we have been in Singapore for five years already!).
